It still sickens my stomach to watch the clip of the horrific crash that took place at Dodger Stadium on January 21st between Ryan Morais and Trey Canard. It is unbelievable to me that Trey didn’t suffer more than the T10-12 fracture of his spine. Check out this video and see for yourself:

From a guy that has such a strong background in the Christian faith and one of the most talented riders out there today, he has fallen into what feels like a never ending streak of bad luck. From a guy who would really love to see this guy succeed and win himself a championship or two, it has been really hard to watch what has resulted in the last year or so. Aside the physical hurdles he is set to overcome, I can’t imagine where he’s at mentally right now after all the blows he has taken. However, he is the type of guy that will overcome anything and I can still see him winning nonetheless. I can’t wait for that day to come. Get well Trey and I’m excited to see you back out there!
